Della Marie Rose Johnson, 67

| September 27, 2024 1:00 AM

Della Rose Johnson passed away peacefully at home Sept. 10, 2024. Della had recently suffered from a previously unknown rare blood disorder.

Della was born in Ronan, Mont., on May 16, 1657, to Delbert Rose and Ruth Cahoon. She attended Kellogg High School and grew up in the Silver Valley of North Idaho. She genuinely enjoyed the great outdoors in the Silver Valley, like rafting, fishing, camping, etc. Her happiest moments were dancing, laughing and enjoying her many friends and family.

She married Mike Wiley, a miner, right after high school and has three surviving children from that marriage. In 1982, she married Alan Johnson and remained happily married for 42 years until her passing.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Delbert Rose and Ruth Cahoon, along with a brother, Fred Rose, and a sister, Trudy Roberts. She is survived by her three children, Trina Wiley, Shonda Wiley and Jarrod Wiley, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving her is her stepdad, Leon Quaring.

Instead of a funeral, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Della will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
