Natalie Pearl Ulery (Lamont) departed this earthly life Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, in Clarkston, Wash., at the age of 84. She passed away in the comfort of her own home with her loving husband by her side. Natalie was born Nov. 3, 1939, in a small village in rural Alaska to John Henry and Natalia Lamont; she grew up to be a deeply caring and resourceful individual, touching the lives of so many.

Natalie dedicated her life to caring for others. Beginning at a very young age, she tended to many of her younger siblings. She later pursued a career in the nursing field, where she continued to care for an extensive list of individuals all over the Inland Northwest. Though, her greatest contribution was in caring for her own family, her husband and six children. Natalie always gave from the abundance of her heart; to which there was no end.

Natalie found great joy around water and was an exceptional fisherwoman. She also cherished preparing food for others and believed that the way to a person’s heart was through their stomach. Natalie quickly hooked and later married Sidney J. Ulery in May of 1990. They recently celebrated 34 years of marriage. In recent years, Natalie and her husband, Sid, have enjoyed simple mornings together, often having coffee at McDonalds. They shared their home in Clarkston with their beloved dogs.

Natalie was a helpful and respectful daughter. Sister to many Lamont siblings. Wife of Sid. Friend to so many. Mother of Danny, Debbie, Melody, Karl, Valerie and Jessica. Her life was further enriched by her abundant list of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Natalie had a sweet smile and a kind heart, her beauty could be seen both inside and out. She will be greatly missed.

Natalie was preceded in death by her parents, many of her brothers and sisters, as well as her first-born son, Danny.

A memorial service will be held by her family at The Gladish Community Center in Pullman, Wash., on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at 1 p.m.
