LOCAL WATCH: Jenkins, formerly of Lake City, helps Eastern down Gonzaga

Eastern Washington d. Gonzaga 25-19, 25-10, 18-25, 25-21: At Spokane, Quincy Moran had 15 kills, Tanai Jenkins — a redshirt junior from Lake City — three blocks for the Eagles (4-6) in a win over the Bulldogs (1-9) in the Gonzaga Invitational at the Martin Centre. Autumn Larson had 17 kills for Gonzaga, which opens West Coast Conference play on Thursday against former Post Falls High star Kylie Munday and visiting San Diego.

San Diego State d. Eastern Washington 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 15-12: At Spokane, Alyssa Radke had 15 kills, Bri Gunderson 12 kills and nine blocks for the Eagles (3-6) in a loss to the Aztecs (8-2) in the Gonzaga Invitational at the Martin Centre.

South Carolina Upstate d. Idaho 25-19, 25-16, 25-19: At Spartanburg, S.C., Emma Patterson had nine kills, Miya Carmichael 17 assists for the Vandals (1-10) in a loss to the host Spartans (4-8) in the Spartan Classic.
