DEMOCRATS: A party of abiding faith

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Bill signed by President Lyndon Johnson. As he signed it, he stated “Just finishing up what Lincoln started.”

If you are over 65, you are the beneficiary of Democratic presidents’ FDR gave us Social Security; LBJ gave us Medicare and Medicaid. I am grateful to be a Democrat, a party of abiding faith. Remember that when you enter that voting booth in November.
