NoID Film Festival begins Thursday

| September 20, 2024 1:00 AM

The NoID Film Festival will make its debut Thursday, featuring a mix of workshops, events and Idaho and Pacific Northwest Films that will be shown at Regal Riverstone through Sept. 28.

"We have a lot of hidden grassroots talent across Idaho that could easily compete with the mainstream in Hollywood; they just need a platform for their creativity to be seen, and that's exactly what we're here to do," NoID Film Festival Executive Director Matt Edwards said in a Sept. 12 news release.

As a debut event, the 2024 festival has already attracted filmmakers from across the U.S., with a wide variety of films that promise high-quality production, unique storytelling and captivating plots.

Audiences will have opportunities to experience everything from groundbreaking documentaries to innovative shorts — each one pushing boundaries and defying convention. The festival offers the local community a rare opportunity to experience films outside the mainstream.

In addition to film screenings, the festival will include director and producer Q&As, industry workshops and networking events, including the VIP-only afterparty.

NoID Film Festival offers VIP passes for those looking to enjoy an exclusive festival experience. VIP pass holders will receive access to all events as well as reserved seating, festival memorabilia and VIP lounge access. For those interested in individual films, tickets are available for purchase both online and in-person for $15 per screening, including the festival's premiere film, "Death Athletic: A Dissident Architecture."

Other films will include "Man Vs. Phone," "The Grand Salmon + Ascension," "All Saints" and more.
