Five people were hurt in a four-vehicle crash in Post Falls on Thursday.

According to the Idaho State Police, a 22-year-old female of Stafford, Texas was westbound in a 2023 Tesla Model 3 about 8 a.m. on 14th Avenue when she failed to stop at the stop sign.

As the Tesla crossed Spokane Street, a southbound 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 29-year-old female of Spirit Lake, struck the Tesla.

The Tesla then struck two other vehicles, a Chevrolet Silverado and Chevrolet Tahoe, in a residential driveway on West 14th Avenue, the release said.

The Tesla came to rest partially on top of the Tahoe.  There was also damage to the residential property.

The Tesla had two passengers, a 50-year-old female from Spokane Valley, and a juvenile. The driver and juvenile were wearing seatbelts and child restraints. However, the female passenger was not wearing a seatbelt. They were transported to a hospital by an ambulance, the release said.

The Jeep had two juvenile passengers.  All occupants were wearing seatbelts and child restraints and were transported to a hospital by ambulance.

The roadways were blocked for nearly four hours.
