Jeffrey Wombolt, 83

Jeffrey Wombolt, age 83, of Kona, Hawaii, passed away Sept. 6, 2024. Born on June 23, 1941, in Kellogg, Idaho, Jeff was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and community member. 

He grew up in Kellogg, where he attended Kellogg High School and later attended three years at the University of Idaho, then continued his education at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Jeff was known for his leadership within his community and his love of basketball. 

After completing his education, Jeff dedicated 34 years of his life to his career in dentistry, owning his own practice in the community he grew up in.  

In his personal life, Jeff was married to Sue for 57 years. Together, they raised three children: Lisa, Trisha and Kyle. Jeff was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He was passionate about his golf game and spent many days golfing at Kellogg Country Club.  

Jeff is survived by his wife, Sue; children Lisa (Jim) Currie, Trisha (Rich) Agueros, Kyle (Rosy) Wombolt; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John, mother Josephine and brothers Jerry and Jack. 

No funeral service will be held.
