'Fill the Boot' today

Kootenai County firefighters will be trying to "Fill the Boot" today.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraiser will be at Government Way and Hanley Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

People are encouraged to stop by and drop in donations.

"We would love your support as we continue to help these families in need," according to a statement from the firefighters.
