COEUR d’ALENE — The North Idaho Building Contractors' Association's annual Parade of Homes begins Saturday.

The event is a major fundraiser for NIBCA and its efforts to protect and promote the building industry.

Coeur d'Alene homes being showcased in the parade will be open for touring Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sept. 20 from 1 to 6 p.m., Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sandpoint properties will also be showcased Sept. 28 and 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Touring these homes gives you the chance to find your dream home, or gather fantastic ideas for your future projects," said Dale Cargile, NIBCA president.

The featured homes are scattered around the region — a map of property locations can be found in the Parade of Homes guidebook put out by the organization. The NIBCA Parade of Homes app is also available to download on the App Store or Google Play.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at CDA Paving and Concrete Supplies in Coeur d'Alene, at NIBCA.com, at each of the featured properties during event hours or on Eventbrite.
