Comedian Heath Harmison to perform Sept. 21 at the Kroc

| September 13, 2024 1:00 AM

Comedian Heath Harmison will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Midge and Pepper Smock Family Theatre at the Kroc Center.

Presented by Merlin's Comedy Club, the show will feature Harmison's PG-13 style of comedy that has brought joy to club, cruise ship, college and festival audiences around the country and as far away as Scotland.

Harmison regularly performs on the Las Vegas Strip at such venues as Planet Hollywood, the Rio, Tropicana, Bally’s and the MGM Grand. He has been seen on the TV show “Laughs” and has over 53 million views on his Dry Bar Comedy Specials. He’s also on Amazon’s best seller list for his book, “Father’s Easy Answers to Life’s Difficult Questions.” He has worked with comics including Brad Garrett, Louie Anderson, Dennis Miller, Eddie Griffin and Roseanne Barr.

"My wife and I have been bringing in comedians to the region since 2022," Merlin's Comedy Club co-founder Mickael Stevens said. "All our shows are clean and advertised for ages 13–99 years old. Any older and they may suffer severe health problems due to excessive laughter."

Being clean shows, Merlin's comedians are expected to be more thoughtful in the language they use.

"We love being able to offer shows open to a younger audience as well, and give them an opportunity to get into comedy," Stevens said. "Most shows are at the comedy club in Spokane and are at a minimum for ages 18, if not 21."

He said all the comedians Merlin's Comedy Club has brought in are professionals who have performed in comedy clubs and theaters.

"Most have performed on late-night talk shows," Stevens said.

Tickets to Harmison's show are $30 online or $35 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
