Third annual Rathdrum Rumble car show set for Sept. 28

| September 11, 2024 1:00 AM

Calling all classic car enthusiasts: The third annual Rathdrum Rumble is revving up for another fall car show.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28, at NIC’s Parker Technical Education Center, 7064 W. Lancaster Road, Rathdrum.

The Rathdrum Rumble began two years ago to provide support for NIC's autobody and paint technology students as they participate in regional and national SkillsUSA competitions.

The show is free and open to the public. Food trucks will be on site.

The registration fee is $20 per vehicle. Categories include hot rod/modified, young builder, classic car, truck, import and motorcycle.

“The show is always a ton of fun,” assistant autobody and paint technology professor Andy Rogge said in a Wednesday news release. “The community and the students bring in some really impressive vehicles to show off.”

Hosted tours of the Parker Technical Education Campus will be conducted for those interested in learning more about its programs.

Visit nic.edu/rrumble or call 208-929-4040 for details or to register a vehicle in the car show.
