The Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber and Post Falls Area Chamber of Commerce recently donated $3,000 to the Panhandle Affordable Housing Alliance.

The funds were raised during the joint North Idaho Business Expo and Career Fair in May and will support PAHA’s mission to develop and preserve affordable housing in Kootenai County.

“We are thrilled to contribute to the Panhandle Affordable Housing Alliance’s incredible work," said Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber CEO and President Linda Coppess. "Our North Idaho Business Expo and Career Fair was not only a great success for local businesses but also an opportunity to give back to the community. This grant is a testament to our commitment to fostering affordable housing solutions and supporting the future of our community.”

Christina Petit, CEO and president of the Post Falls Area Chamber, added, “Partnering with PAHA to provide this grant is a reflection of our shared dedication to improving the quality of life for our residents."

Maggie Lyons, PAHA executive director, said the donation is a significant boost to its mission of providing affordable housing and building futures for families in Kootenai County.

"With this support, we are better equipped to continue our efforts in developing and preserving affordable homes, ensuring that everyone in our community has a place to call home," she said.
