ENDORSEMENT: Havercroft is what NIC needs

I am extremely pleased that Mary Havercroft is a candidate for North Idaho College Trustee. During my tenure as a school administrator, I had the opportunity to work with Mary in numerous capacities. As an educator, she is competent, conscientious, and high achieving. I am confident that as a Trustee, she will exhibit these same qualities. Mary has been successful as a Teacher, Director of Special Education, and Principal. Her background, experience and skills are exactly what is needed on the NIC Board at this critical juncture. Her knowledge of education and ability to supervise people in a cooperative manner is outstanding. She has successfully dealt with accreditation issues, visits, and teams. She has overseen federal funds, state appropriations, and numerous grants, while demonstrating conservative and appropriate financial management. I am confident that Mary Havercroft can work with the administration, staff, and other Trustees to oversee the operation of NIC for the benefit of the students and community.
