Northern Lakes Fire District to host town hall tonight

The Northern Lakes Fire District will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Station 1, 125 W. Hayden Ave., Hayden.

The meeting will provide information regarding the upcoming vote on a two-year temporary levy, according to a media release put out by the agency. The levy is "aimed at maintaining the fire district's operational capacity and ensuring continued safety and emergency services," the release said. 

During the event, the public will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about how the levy will impact the community. 

A levy calculator tool has been added to the fire district's website to help residents learn how much they pay now and how much they would pay with a levy.
