LOCAL WATCH: Lakeland High product Ryan shines in WSU win over Eastern Washington

Washington State d. Eastern Washington 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19: At Pullman, Katy Ryan, a senior from Lakeland High, had 13 kills and four blocks for the Cougars (2-2) in a nonleague win over the Eagles (1-3) at Bohler Gym. Tanai Jenkins, a redshirt junior from Lake City High, had six blocks for Eastern.

Utah Tech d. Gonzaga 23-25, 25-14, 16-25, 25-18, 15-7: At Spokane, Raechelle Dykstra had 15 kills for the Bulldogs (1-3) in a loss to the Trailblazers (4-1) in the Gonzaga Tournament in the Martin Centre.

UC Riverside d. Idaho 25-16, 18-25, 25-17, 25-21: At Cedar City, Utah, Zuzanna Wieczorek had nine kills and two aces for the Vandals (0-4) in a loss to the Highlanders (1-4) in the Southern Utah Tournament.

Southern Utah d. Idaho 25-15, 25-17, 25-20: At Cedar City, Utah, Andrea Spasojevic had 13 kills, Victoria Zibecchi 11 kills, 10 digs and three aces for the Vandals (0-5) in a loss to the Thunderbirds (1-3).
