Hospice of North Idaho hosts open house, tour

COEUR d'ALENE — Hospice of North Idaho invites the community to the upcoming open house and campus tour for an in-depth look at its compassionate care facilities and picturesque grounds.

It is 3-6 p.m. Sept. 12. at the Community Services Building (Behind the Schneidmiller House) 2290 W. Prairie Ave. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in guided tours of hospice’s 6-acre campus, including the Schneidmiller House, the state-of-the-art inpatient facility, and the Community Building, which provides crucial support and resources for those navigating the complexities of end-of-life care.

One of the highlights will be the introduction of the new campus memorial installment, the Telephone of the Wind. Inspired by the “Wind Phone” located in Japan, this unique and serene space will allow visitors to symbolically connect with loved ones who have passed, offering a reflective way to express feelings and memories through a disconnected telephone.

Light refreshments and appetizers will be available.
