County Line Fire nearing full containment

The County Line Fire, near Plummer, is 80% contained, according to the latest update from the Idaho Department of Lands.

County Line Road remains closed at this time as crews work to remove hazardous trees that were weakened by the fire. Avista is also working on a plan to replace power poles in the area. 

The fire was first reported Saturday morning and has burned 192 acres.
