NIC: Big money vs. little people

It’s a tale as old as time…Big Money vs. the little people. I am sure you’ve noticed all the humongous ‘Save NIC’ signs along highway 95, at the corner of Northwest Boulevard and Seltice, and in downtown Hayden. Then, there are the TV ads, radio messages, Facebook posts, and billboards around town. It takes large amounts of cash to finance all that advertisement. Builders and car dealerships are major donors. The ‘Save NIC’ crowd, formerly ‘Friends of NIC’, have way more money than their opponents. Five times more! It’s hard to compete with big business.
