EDITORIAL: Bible influenced Constitution

In response to your editorial, “The Rattle and Hiss of Misplaced Public Service,” the founding fathers of our nation referenced the Bible more than any other book when writing our Constitution. To imply that an elected official doing the same while crafting public policy is unconstitutional shows an unfortunate ignorance of the history surrounding our founding documents. It is the Bible that influenced our forefathers to write the policies that give the Press the freedom to bash Christians in their publication. Or have your writers progressed beyond the knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, rednecks who wrote our Constitution?
