Cardboard creativity

| October 28, 2024 1:07 AM

There was nothing boring about cardboard Wednesday evening as Lakeland School District students participated in the annual Cardboard Challenge.

Gifted and Talented Education educator Julie Anderson of Twin Lakes Elementary School said it was an amazing event night with teachers, parents and students attending.

The challenge is annually coordinated by Lakeland School District's advanced learning teachers to encourage students and families to spend time together just building their ideas.

"Families are always excited to come and create with cardboard, tools and supplies that are provided," Anderson said. "It is awesome to see all the unique items that they come up with!"
