ENDORSEMENT: Vote for Lyons, McKenzie, Angiletta
I appreciate all the hard work the conservative boards of North Idaho College have been doing these past few years. NIC is now doing very well. For about 12 years, the enrollment has been in decline. Something needed to be done. Enrollment is now up 15%.
Being over 90 years old, changes needed to be made. Many processes were due for an update. Change is hard and with any large organization, it takes time to implement improvements. With current Chairman Waggoner’s leadership and experience working with large companies, NIC has taken a turn for the best. This is a new day, the digital world is looming, and creative thought is needed to increase the effectiveness of NIC in our community. Our dinky community college has a bright future. Thank you to the conservative board members who have taken many hits from people who don’t know the whole story. Finances look good. The NIC Foundation has increased its endowment by $45 million. Accreditation issues are being resolved, that will improve the college and draw even more interest in attendance. Better days are yet to come. Let’s keep the conservative influence going and vote for Lyons, McKenzie, and Angiletta to make North Idaho College great again.
