SANDPOINT — Lake City freshman Ava Roberts scored in regulation for the sixth-seeded Timberwolves, who kept their season alive with a victory over seventh-seeded Highland of Pocatello at War Memorial Field on Friday.
Highland’s Alexis Vawdrey scored for the Rams to force overtime. Lake City (13-4-2) won in a penalty kick shootout 6-5 to advance to today’s consolation championship against fifth-seeded Bishop Kelly of Boise at 10 a.m.
Bishop Kelly (15-3-3) beat Madison of Rexburg in a loser-out match.

COEUR d'ALENE — The third-seeded Timberwolves went two and out following a loss to the seventh-seeded Mavericks of Meridian at Viking Field.
Lake City finishes 11-3-2.
Mountain View (11-10-2) faces Thunder Ridge (17-2-1) of Idaho Falls in the consolation championship today.

POST FALLS — The seventh-seeded Panthers got regulation goals from Sofia Peppin and Reagan Meine, but fell to the third-seeded Cutthroat Trout in a shootout 6-5 in a loser-out game in the state 4A tournament at The Fields.
Coeur d’Alene Charter finished 10-4-2.
Sun Valley Community School (18-2-1) faces Marsh Valley (16-5-1) in the consolation championship today.
