Silver Valley Seniors ask for donations

OSBURN — Silver Valley Seniors, Inc., is asking for donations to the Silver Valley Meals on Wheels program due to fundraising concerns.

The Silver Valley program is partly funded by the federal government and provides five meals a week to participants. It was scaled back from seven meals a week due to a lack of resources.

A donation of $8 covers a meal for a program participant.

Checks can be given to Meals on Wheels delivery drivers. Cash or checks can be sent to the Osburn Senior Center, P.O. Box 887, Osburn, ID 83849.
