ELECTION: Why I can’t vote for Trump
Let me start by saying that I have voted for every Republican president since Ronald Reagen. I served my country proudly in the U.S. Army. I was born and have lived most of my life in Idaho. I do not believe Kamala will be a great president. But I cannot put my trust in Trump for many reasons but these two I cannot forgive or forget.
1. His disrespect for our soldiers. His disrespect of Senator McCain during his 2016 election campaign was deplorable. You can disagree with his politics but disrespecting his service to this country, from a man who used his daddy’s money to get out of serving is reprehensible. He has referred to our solders as suckers and losers. He also claimed that the Presidential Freedom award is much better than the Medal of Honor. One you get for giving him a big contribution the other is dying for your country or valor above the call of duty. I cannot understand how any veteran or person claiming to support our veterans and solders can vote for a man that has shown so much disrespect.
2. There are more reasons but I will end with this, NEWS IS NOT FAKE JUST BECAUSE YOU DISAGREE. Jan. 6 was an attempt to overturn a fair election — there is no credible evidence of election interference.
