ENDORSEMENT: Vote for Marano

It is time our votes reflect our values. Candidates who do not represent the citizens and create division won’t get my vote. I am voting for candidates who TAKE ACTION to benefit the community. I am voting for Paula Marano, candidate for Representative seat 4B because she listens and shares our values. Coeur d’Alene has been Paula’s home for over 50 years. She knows the people and she knows Coeur d’Alene.

Paula supports our veterans. She understands that after serving in a war zone, veterans need compassion and sometimes medical, housing or legal assistance. Paula supported homeless military housing in Post Falls and Veteran’s Court. 

Paula supports our fire and police departments who routinely put their lives at risk. Paula realizes that we need to be fiscally responsible, but sometimes that means giving our first responders what they need to be effective. Elaine Price, her opponent, voted against funding the police Fentanyl task force. Paula would support it.

Paula supports our public schools. About 30,000 of our 54,000 residents are parents, or students in our public schools. Parents told Paula that they want schools to be fully funded. Elaine Price, her opponent, has voted against school funding. Perhaps it’s because she is connected to an organization opposed to public schools. Have you considered the consequences of not having public schools? Paula supports our public schools and teachers.

Paula understands that how we treat our vets is a reflection of community values. Paula knows that schools are the foundation of our community and our first responders keep communities safe. Paula Marano candidate for State Representative seat 4B shares my values and has earned my vote.
