3Cs Craft Faire will be Oct. 25, 26 at fairgrounds

| October 18, 2024 1:05 AM

The Cancer and Community Charities (3Cs) group will host its eighth annual Craft Faire from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 25 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 in Buildings 1 and 2 at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

Admission is $2 per person.

The festive two-day event will include 70 booths featuring local crafters' and artisans' handmade works: crocheted items, Christmas decor, gift baskets, jewelry, baked goods and more that will help guests "quick start" their holiday shopping.

This year's craft faire will showcase raffles highlighting the talents of four 3Cs members:

• A holiday tree designed by Nancy Steffen
• A seasonal quilt designed by Sherry Beno
• A child's rocking chair painted by Suzi Wong
• A matching quilt for the children's rocking chair by Mary Ann Herston

Raffle tickets will be $5 for six.

Kootenai County rescue dogs and their handlers will make appearances at the faires. A children's book about the rescue dogs will be available for purchase.

Proceeds will be donated back to the community. Earlier this year, the 3Cs donated $135,000 to 32 nonprofit charities within Kootenai County.
