NIC WOMEN'S GOLF: Young ties for fourth for Cardinals in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. — Sophomore Ava Young from Minico High in Rupert was the top local finisher for North Idaho College, finishing tied for fourth in the Yellowjacket Invitational on Tuesday hosted by Montana State-Billings at Lake Hills Golf Course. 

Young finished with a 77-79—156 for NIC, which finished fourth out of nine teams. 

Montana State-Billings golfer Orraya Tipasathien shot a 5-over 149 to earn medalist honors. 

NIC concludes the fall season at the Whitman Invitational starting on Saturday at Wine Valley Golf Course.
