ENDORSEMENT: Vote for Marano

Voters in District 4 have an opportunity to greatly improve our representation in the Idaho House. I have known Paula Marano for over 30 years and I’m proud to endorse her. 

As a long-standing member of this community, Paula has been involved in civic leadership on many levels over the past 50 years. She is a strong advocate for children, families, and public education and has worked both on advisory boards and in the classroom as a public educator. For any 30 or 40-somethings who were lucky enough to have Mrs. Marano at Ramsey, you will no doubt remember her passion for lifelong learning. She believed in real-world experiences for her students and sought to educate by immersing them into the real world. You will never forget becoming a part of real court case in front of a real judge in a real courtroom when she arranged for her classes to visit Judge Marano’s courtroom to try the case of The Three Bears v Goldilocks, or The Three Pigs v B. B. Wolf. This civics lesson could have easily been taught from the textbook, but Paula went the extra mile to make it memorable. She will go the extra mile for you when she’s in Boise. 

Paula is a woman of deep faith, a woman of integrity and common sense, and a woman determined to find out the truth.  She voraciously, asks questions — lots of questions — and she listens. She makes choices based on facts rather than emotions and would never rubber-stamp any bill because her party demanded it. Please join me in voting for Paula Marano on Nov. 5.
