Zachary, a sophomore, shot a 3-under-par 70 to earn boys medalist honors at the 5A Region 1 tournament last Thursday at The Links Golf Club in Post Falls. “Tyler has been very consistent this season,” Lakeland coach Colleen Hall said. “He frequently is the top 5A golfer in our regular season tournaments and played tournaments through Washington and Idaho Junior golf over the summer, and that level of competition helped him get mentally prepared for our season as well as honed his skills.”
