Volunteers needed for tree work at Q’emiln Park

POST FALLS — Tree cleanup is planned Saturday at Q’emiln Park in Post Falls.
The volunteer event is put on through the Friends of Post Falls Community Forest and the Urban Forestry Division of the Post Falls Parks and Recreation Department.
Cleanup activities include tree thinning and pruning. Work is expected to take three hours. Gloves and tools will be provided to participants.
Volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Q’emiln Park trailhead at 12361 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls.
The city's email system was back online as of Wednesday afternoon, so volunteers are asked to reach out to Daniel at dlambert@postfalls.gov.
