James 'Jim' Violette, 84

James “Jim” Neil Violette, 84, of Sagle, Idaho, passed away Nov. 24, 2024. Jim was born March 23, 1940, in Anaconda, Mont., to Neil and Ester Violette.

He graduated from Anaconda High School in 1958. He then joined the United States Air Force and served for 20 years. Jim had a long and prosperous career in dentistry after that.

Jim’s passion was his family and friends. He loved making connections with people. He loved being on a golf course, on a lake fishing or at the bowling alley.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Glennda; his daughter, Cheri Warren (Bud); son Chris Violette (Starr); daughter Heather King and son Ben King (Aylin). He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, plus one great-great-grandson; and three amazing furry babies, Tess, Brody and Koby. He is preceded in death by his son, Richard Violette.
