GRATITUDE: Thanks for the gift
On Nov. 26, I stopped at Dutch Brothers on Hanley to purchase a gift card for a friend. There was quite a line. I could see that a woman in a white vehicle was parked and would need to get out, so I backed up to let her in the line. No big deal. When I got to the window to pay for the $20 gift card, the gal told me the woman in the white car paid for me. I was stunned. Your generosity and kindness gave me a moment of hope and a deep sense of gratitude — it’s hard to describe how much it affected me. You are an inspiration. Thank you.
P.S. Last week all the leaves on our street were picked up. It was quite a job and it was a mess. The next day, the street was clean. Truly an amazing amount of work. Thank you to all the people involved in getting that work done. You are appreciated.
