PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Coeur d'Alene runs past Lewiston

COEUR d’ALENE — Sophomore Brookeslee Colvin led three starters in double figures with 21 points for the Coeur d’Alene Vikings in a 70-33 win over the Lewiston Bengals in an Inland Empire League game at Viking Court on Tuesday. 

Junior Karisa Wallis scored 15 points, junior Natalie Semprimoznik 10 points for Coeur d’Alene (2-2), which made eight 3-pointers in the win. 

Erin Lathen scored eight points for Lewiston (1-3). 

Coeur d’Alene (2-2) returns to action at Eagle on Dec. 5.

ST. MARIES — Senior Danika Sloper scored nine points, all in the first half for the Lumberjacks in a nonleague win over the Loggers at St. Maries High. 

Averie Baird scored seven points for St. Maries (1-1), which picked up its first win under coach Tami Holdahl, who took over the program this season. 

Kathryn Burnette scored 14 points for Potlatch (0-3). 

St. Maries travels to Wallace next Tuesday.
