Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and while many people focus on the prospect of stuffing themselves with turkey and pie and scoping out Black Friday deals, it's important to remember that the holiday should have a meaning that goes beyond our stomachs and Christmas shopping.

While we have come 348 years since the first Thanksgiving proclamation of settlers in 1676, the day should still be recognized as a time to pause, reflect and express gratitude. In this spirit, all of us at the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce would like to express what we are thankful for this season.

The heartbeat of our Chamber: Our members

The CDA Chamber is not just a collection of businesses and professionals; it's a thriving community built on shared values, hard work and the strong relationships we have forged to achieve a common mission. During this season of appreciation, we want to thank all our members who make this Chamber dynamic, impactful and deeply connected to the community we serve.

Our members are the lifeblood of the Chamber. Whether you are a small business owner, a nonprofit leader, or a representative of a larger corporation, your contributions are invaluable. You have brought energy, innovation and a sense of purpose to our initiatives, making the Chamber a driving force in Coeur d'Alene's business and social life. Your support, collaboration and active engagement enable us to promote economic prosperity for our unique community.

Every sponsorship, partnership and participation in our events — from the Annual Awards Banquet to the Fourth of July Parade — demonstrates your commitment to enhancing the quality of life and business climate here in Coeur d'Alene. Your involvement transforms these events from simple gatherings into celebrations of community spirit and shared success and we are profoundly grateful for this.

Celebrating our sponsors and event participants

This year has been filled with numerous events and initiatives that would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our sponsors and event participants. From educational seminars to candidate summits, your engagement in these projects has made a lasting impact on our community.

We want to extend a special thank you to all the sponsors who have stepped forward to back these events, ensuring that they run smoothly and contribute meaningfully to our broader community. Your financial support, time and enthusiasm help bring our vision to life and provide our members with unparalleled networking and growth opportunities.

We are equally grateful to all who have attended, volunteered, or served on planning committees. Your engagement shows that Coeur d'Alene is not just a place to do business but a community where relationships are cherished and where businesses can thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Honoring our Chamber staff and board members

Behind every successful event, program and initiative is a dedicated team of Chamber staff and board members who work tirelessly to advocate for our members and deliver value through our services. Your commitment, creativity and hard work ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our diverse membership base while upholding the Chamber's mission of Visionary Leadership for Our Businesses and Our Community. Together, we foster a dynamic and growing regional economy.

Our board members volunteer their precious time and unique gifts/superpowers to steer the Chamber's strategic direction and our staff members go above and beyond in their day-to-day efforts to serve and support members. To all of you, we offer our heartfelt thanks. Your vision and commitment drive the Chamber forward.

Looking ahead: Join us in building the future

As we reflect on the past year and express our gratitude, we are reminded of the beautiful and bright future ahead — one that we will continue building together. We invite anyone who is not yet a member of the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce to consider joining us. Becoming a member means more than just being a part of a professional organization. Membership provides tangible benefits from the interplay of networking, collaboration, innovation and dedication to fostering a thriving business community.

If you would like to learn more about the benefits of Chamber membership, please reach out to us. Together, we can continue making a positive impact on our community and creating opportunities for growth and success.

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, we are grateful for each of you and wish you and your loved ones a holiday filled with joy, warmth and many reasons to be thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber!
