'Celtic Christmas' at the Kroc

| November 22, 2024 1:00 AM

This holiday season, the renowned Irish trio Everdream will return to the Midge & Pepper Smock Family Theater at the Kroc with its beloved show, "A Celtic Christmas."

Known for the enchanting combination of harp, violin and soprano voice, Everdream — formerly known as Affiniti — has been delighting Pacific Northwest audiences since 2014. The trio is thrilled to bring their festive performance back to Coeur d’Alene for two shows at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 and 12.

"A Celtic Christmas" has become a cherished tradition for residents of Coeur d’Alene. This year, Everdream is adding fresh magic to the experience. Attendees can look forward to new songs, stunning new dresses and some freshly spun Irish humor to keep spirits high. The concert will transport audiences to Ireland, where beloved Christmas carols meet the soul-stirring strains of Irish folk music, performed by three of Ireland’s most accomplished musical artists.

This year’s show will feature a blend of Celtic and holiday classics, including “Danny Boy,” “Silent Night” and Everdream’s chart-topping rendition of “O Holy Night.”

Everdream's sound is a cross between Enya, Celtic Woman and Sarah Brightman. Members Emer Barry, Mary McCague and Teresa O'Donnell have been touring the U.S. for over 10 years with "A Celtic Christmas," selling out venues in the Pacific Northwest. Each member of the group has a master's in music and has performed on international stages with everyone from Sinead O'Connor to Michael Bublé.

Tickets are $30 excluding tax and fees. Visit kroccda.org for details.
