Soroptimist Coeur d’Alene seeks nominations for Women of Distinction Awards
Soroptimist Coeur d’Alene is seeking nominations for 2024-25 Women of Distinction Awards.
“The Women of Distinction Awards stand as a testament to the strength, resilience and unwavering commitment of the women who shape and inspire our communities," said Kylie Cutler, club president. "As we celebrate 42 years of honoring remarkable women, we are reminded of the profound impact that one person can have in transforming the lives of many. We are proud to shine a spotlight on these trailblazers, whose relentless efforts make a difference every day."
Soroptimist International of Coeur d’Alene, chartered in 1948 as the first civic service group for women, works to better the lives of women and girls in our local community, a press release said.
"With an international purpose to provide women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, Soroptimist represents women at their best, striving to help other women be their best," the release said.
Soroptimists annually present their “Women of Distinction” awards to women whose achievements and dedication to community service set them apart.
Award nomination categories include arts and culture, business and professional, community service, education, health, public service and senior.

"This special celebration will also highlight local scholarship recipients. Let’s come together to honor the achievements of extraordinary women and empower those on their path to achieving their dreams.”
