Ed and Ruth Chase

75th Anniversary

Ed and Ruth Chase, of Post Falls, fell in love 75 years ago at a skating rink in Columbus, Ohio. They were married Nov. 19, 1949.

Ed was a career truck driver while Ruth was a musician and country singer. Through the years, they enjoyed square dancing, various RV trips and hosted many family gatherings.

Together, they had three sons, Tony Chase of Post Falls, Dan (Julie) Chase of Liberty Lake, Lonnie (Christina) Chase of Hayden Lake, and a daughter, Kathy (Bob) Moate of Fernan Lake.

They also have seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Seventy-five years later, still in love, they will be celebrating their "truly special" anniversary at their home in Post Falls with their family.
