Health advisories lifted for water bodies in North Idaho

A public health advisory for harmful algal bloom in water bodies in the five North Idaho counties was lifted Friday.

The Panhandle Health District, in collaboration with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, said in a press release they have completed field testing on all water bodies for the season.

The public should continue to take precaution as HABs can occur year-round, the release said.
