DEMOCRATS: Deception as a useful tool

| November 15, 2024 1:00 AM

Her letter is a perfect example of why the Democrat party deserved to lose the recent election. The condescending “we know better than the voters” attitude is antidemocratic. It is a perfect example of Trump derangement. All of her hypothetical horrors are partisan lies, not Trump policies. She decries the influence of billionaires (Musk) unless they have “right beliefs” (Soros, Bloomberg, Gates, Steyer, etc.)

The party leadership has proudly adopted deception as useful tools. (Too many examples exist for this space, but here are some: Harry Reid about Mitt Romney’s taxes in 2012, Hillary Clinton’s fabricated Steel Dossier, Joe Biden about wanting to be a centrist president, Adam Schiff about having ironclad proof of Trump’s Russia deals, “the border is secure,” and the clear double standard of justice for democrats and others.)

There are also the anti-democratic practices of censorship and personal harassment. Here are just a few examples: Social media cancellation, pressuring the news media to censor stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop contents. The government produced a letter from 51 CIA “experts” refuting the laptop contents, but they were later confirmed as genuine. Then there were the hostile demonstrations at the homes of Supreme Court justices.

These things beg the question: Why would voters choose rulers who hold us in contempt?
