Meth, pot, guns found during search of Pinehurst home
PINEHURST –– A joint operation between Pinehurst Police, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho Department of Correction Probation and Parole led to the arrest of two individuals last week.
Jackson Menke, 35, and Kylie Robinson, 36, were arrested after police executed a warrant at their Pinehurst residence, where they discovered drugs, paraphernalia and firearms, police said.
Both individuals have criminal records, including drug charges and probation violations. According to court records, Robinson was on supervised felony probation at the time of her arrest.
During the search of the home, along with what was believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police discovered thousands of rounds of ammunition, five shotguns, seven rifles and one pistol, records indicate. Menke claimed all of the weapons in the home belonged to him, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Menke’s previous criminal history is all misdemeanor crime, which allows him to purchase and own firearms. However, due to her prior felony convictions, Robinson is not allowed to possess firearms.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the home was littered with dog feces, dirty dishes and old food, and had a general “lack of cleanliness” that alarmed Pinehurst Police Chief John Richter, considering that Menke’s four children stayed in the home when he had custody of them. Health and Welfare was alerted to the situation as well.
Robinson appeared in court Friday, where she was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a firearm.
