176 single-family homes, community park could be coming to Hayden
HAYDEN — An estimated 176 new single-family homes, in addition to two commercial lots and a 12-acre community park, could be coming to the area of West Hayden Avenue and North Carrington Street.
The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the Battleground Phased Subdivision last week, with conditions, according to public documents.
Since the proposed subdivision will go in a “previously unserved” area of Hayden, documents read, additional sewer infrastructure work will be required before construction can begin. No impact on the city’s existing collection system is expected.
Once sewer infrastructure work is complete, the subdivision could be expected to be completed within two years, according to city engineers.
Further approval for the subdivision will be discussed at Tuesday’s City Council meeting, which begins at 5 p.m. at 8930 N. Government Way in Hayden.
