Ona Mae Hudson, 88

Ona Mae Vandeventer Hudson went to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2024.  

She grew up in Hayden, Idaho, and attended Coeur d’Alene High School. She married her husband, Thomas A. Hudson, in 1956 and celebrated 68 years of marriage in February of this year. Ona Mae enjoyed crocheting, canning, reading, camping and being outdoors. 

Ona Mae is survived by her husband, Thomas; daughters Cyndi Adams, Tammy Waldo and Julia Townsend; and her sons, Robert (and Jennifer) Hudson and LeRoy (and Wanda) Hudson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Cora Marks; and many nieces and nephews.  

Ona Mae was preceded in death by her daughter, Lalani Burnham; sons Thomas and Frank Hudson; parents Bill and Laura Vandeventer; and brother John Vandeventer.  

Ona Mae, you were so loved, and we will miss you for eternity.

The memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave.
