Well-Read Moose to celebrate 10 years this weekend

An exciting weekend is planned for the Well-Read Moose as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Today through Sunday the independent bookstore at 2048 N. Main St. in Riverstone, Coeur d'Alene will mark everything down 10% in honor of the milestone. Guests will have opportunities to spin the prize wheel and win gift cards, tote bags and more. Book drawings will be held and celebratory cookies will be shared.

The Well-Read Moose will host local wildlife photographer Tim Christie at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cougar Bay Nature Preserve, 1636 S. McAvoy Road No. 1500, Coeur d'Alene for a free photography walkabout. Christie will guide attendees on a journey of instructional photography and offer tips for capturing nature's beauty. Bring cameras (and bug spray!) and join in the fun. The event is for beginners and advanced photographers, as well as nature appreciators.
