Darby McDevitt

Eastern Oregon women's soccer

McDevitt, a senior midfielder/defender from Lakeland High, was named the 2023-24 Cascade Collegiate Conference Champions of Character of the Year, announced by the conference. McDevitt holds three conference Academic All-Conference honors and has been recognized twice as an NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete. On the field, McDevitt was a three-time all-conference player, competing in 15 games this season, scoring two goals on the season in back-to-back games against Evergreen State and Rocky Mountain. "Darby is one of the hardest-working people I have ever met, which can be seen through her success on and off the field," Eastern Oregon coach Josh Goodman said. "She has the unique quality of uplifting everyone around her, making them better in the process, while also being extremely kind."

Langan Naylor

Lower Columbia baseball

Naylor, a freshman from Post Falls High, was named to the Northwest Athletic Conference first team at the conclusion of the conference tournament. Naylor had 64 hits, 19 stolen bases and 25 RBIs for the Red Devils of Longview, Wash., who finished third.

Carter Gordon

Lewis-Clark State track and field

Gordon, a junior from Lake City High, earned NAIA All-American honors after finishing fifth in the men's 800-meter run at the NAIA Championships on May 24 in Marion, Ind. Gordon, who ran the anchor leg of the school's 4x800 relay team that finished third, finished the 800 in 1 minute, 51.21 seconds.
