Lois JoAnne Thomas, 83

Lois JoAnne Thomas was born March 29, 1941, to Kenneth and Phyllis Shock in Minnesota. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2024, in Spokane, Wash.

Lois grew up in Lakeside, Mont., and loved to reminisce about being at the lake. She had a heart for all animals, especially her dog, “Sassy.” She enjoyed a good story whether it was on paper or screen. You could find her sitting on her porch during the warm days and watching the birds come and go. Lois was a hard worker and loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her loved ones: sister Beverly Durr; sons Don Kent, David Kent and Michael Barnett; daughter Christine Turner; and many grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024, at Real Life Ministries (1866 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, ID 83854).
