Lucille McCombs, 89

Lucille McCombs, 89, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away early afternoon May 12, 2024, surrounded by loved ones on her journey to meet The Lord.

Lucille was born Nov. 16, 1934, to W. Lindsay and Esther Hunter in Pine Creek, Idaho. She was one of two children. 

Lucille enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking, baking, traveling and truly loved hosting family. She lived her life with generosity, gratitude and kindness. Lucille was an exemplary mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and human being. 

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Virl McCombs; her brother, Alvin “PeeWee” Hunter; and three young children.  

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Ray) Miller, Linda Hone and partner Bobby Stutzke, William “Bill” Gulledge, Deborah Gulledge, Teena Gulledge and Elizabeth Gulledge, and her sprawling lineage of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and loved. 

A graveside memorial service for Lucille will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Hunt Cemetery, Kingston, Idaho.
