VALUES: Vote for those who reflect yours

Friday’s op-ed columns by Mr. Brent Regan and Dr. Jack Riggs could not be better examples of the growing rift and the current approaches in the Republican Party. One writer lists the qualifications and community history of folks running for precinct captains; the other writer screams, anger, threats and innuendos. Bravo to both for giving us the information to choose.

For me personally, it comes down to one multiple choice question:

Who represents my values best?

a) The current KCRCC which embraces the ideologies of Dave Reilly, Vincent James Foxx, Brent Regan, the John Birch Society, and Idaho Freedom Foundation

b) The North Idaho Republicans made up of tried and true conservatives such as Jack Riggs, Mary Souza, Sandy Patano, Christa Hazel, Bob Fish and hundreds of other Reagan Republicans 

For the community I want to live in, I choose “b.”
