Rich and Lyn Gerhard 

50th Anniversary

Rich and Lyn Gerhard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married May 4, 1974, in Walla Walla, Wash. Rich has lived in Coeur d’Alene since 1968 and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1970. Started working at Kootenai Memorial Hospital (now, Kootenai Health) while in high school and has worked there in varying jobs, from shoveling snow during the winter of ’68-'69, to working as an anesthetist for the last 44 years — still working. Lyn has worked as an RN and later as a teacher at multiple schools in the area, now helping with the grandkids and busy with Boy Scouts, church activities, quilting and frequent gym rat. We have two children, Emily and JR Reyes of Antacortes, Wash., and their children, Quinn and Parker, and Maureen and Johnny Tompkins of Post Falls, and their children, Theo and Tinsley.
