LCHS art show at McEuen Park on Tuesday

COEUR d'ALENE — A showcase of Lake City High School art students is scheduled 4 -7 p.m. Tuesday at McEuen Park.

The show, “Gallery '24 — Beauty in the Dark Places, and Running Out of Time,” is free.

Cynthia Chapman, LCHS art teacher, received an EXCEL grant last fall to allow students the opportunity to create an art show from start to finish. They chose ideas for artwork themes; created the artwork, matting and display; selected a venue; and planned snacks and entertainment. 

"They did it all! The kids have done an incredible amount of work and organization," Chapman wrote. "I hope you are able to see this show they’ve created."
