Theresa Miller, 92

Theresa Miller passed away May 2, 2024, in Hayden, Idaho, from heart failure. Theresa was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in 1931 to Frank and Margaret (Fruechtl) Bowman. 

She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She attended St. Thomas Catholic School and graduated from IHM Academy.

She married Kenneth B. Miller in 1950 and they were blessed with six healthy children, three sons and three daughters, and she was very proud of them all.

She and her husband enjoyed making blankets for the Project Linus Program. She enjoyed spending quality time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including picnics, berry picking, swimming and camping. She spent many retirement years fishing with her husband. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting and crafts.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth, her parents, her brother, Frank Bowman Jr. (Dixie), and grandson Christopher Lindsay. Survivors are her six children, Michael (Linda) Miller Rathdrum, Idaho; Thomas Miller of Coeur d'Alene; Daniel (Lisa) Miller of Harrison, Ark; Susan Miller Kuku of Anchorage, Alaska; Kristine Monaghan of Anchorage, Alaska; and Kathleen (Mike) Henry of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. 

Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 8. Viewing will start at 9 a.m. with the funeral mass at 10 a.m., followed by the burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
